Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies based on time-entry activity, payroll schedules, and operational needs. Employees may receive recurring messages, generally including daily time-entry reminders and weekly hour summaries.

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by the employee’s mobile carrier and wireless plan.

Consent and Opting Out

Participation in the text-messaging program is based on the employee’s consent. Consent to receive automated text messages is not a condition of employment where prohibited by law.

Employees may:

  • Reply STOP to stop receiving messages.

  • Reply HELP for assistance.

  • Contact Marotta Painting directly with questions or requests concerning the program.

After an employee opts out, Marotta Painting may send one final message confirming the opt-out. The employee may still receive necessary employment communications through other methods.

Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to administer employment, payroll, timekeeping, and messaging activities and to satisfy applicable legal or recordkeeping obligations.

Children’s Privacy

This text-messaging program is intended for current Marotta Painting employees and is not directed toward children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted with a revised effective date.
